The Grid New Zealand website offered by Transpower provides easily accessible information on all of Transpower’s proposed and committed projects.The website mirrors the project information set out in Transpower’s Annual Planning Report (APR) which signals proposed and possible transmission investments within a 10-year horizon. The site will be regularly updated to provide a current snapshot of any transmission project proposed or underway in New Zealand. The Electricity Commission is a Crown entity set up under the Electricity Act to oversee New Zealand's electricity industry and markets. The Commission regulates the operation of the electricity industry and markets, to ensure electricity is produced and delivered to all consumers in an efficient, fair, reliable and environmentally sustainable manner. The Commission also promotes and facilitates the efficient use of electricity Land Transport New Zealand is a Crown entity formed to take responsibility for land transport funding and promote land transport safety and sustainability. Land Transport New Zealand's statutory objective is to contribute to an integrated, safe, responsive and sustainable land transport system. > Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) Represents the national interests of all 86 councils of New Zealand. As the champion of best practice in the local government sector, LGNZ provides policy, advice and training to councils. Government's principal adviser on the New Zealand environment and international matters that affect the environment. The role of the Ministry for the Environment is to: provide leadership across government and the community on environment, work in partnership with key sectors and organisations to improve our environment, fix problems that require central government intervention, ensure that New Zealand has good environmental governance. > Ministry of Economic Development The Ministry of Economic Development facilitates, leads and implements the Coalition Government's vision for economic development. One of the Government's key goals is to grow an inclusive, innovative economy for the benefit of all. Sustainable economic development is central to the achievement of this goal. > Infrastructure Partnerships Australia The Australian infrastructure industry now has the strong, single voice following a decision to amalgamate Infrastructure Partnerships Australia (IPA) and the Australian Council for Infrastructure Development (AusCID). Infratsructure Partnerships Australia leads the Australian infrastructure debate by bringing together both the public and private sectors to promote partnerships in infrastructure provision. The CEF-O-PPP was formed in July 2006.The French PPP is a think tank and a forum for exchanging expertise and observation which is recognized as far as PPPs are concerned. The CEF-O-PPP involves public and private partners. Its missions range from analysis of contracts to leading think tanks (at a legal, political and economic level) through the setup of a research centre. > Canadian Minstry of Public Infrastructure Renewal The Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal (PIR) is the central agency responsible for managing infrastructure planning and priority setting for the Government of Ontario. The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships was established in 1993 as a member-sponsored organization with representatives from both the public and the private sectors. As proponents of the concept of public-private partnerships (PPP's), The Council conducts research, publishes findings, facilitates forums for discussion and sponsors an Annual Conference on topics related to PPP's, both domestic and international. > Canadian Public Private Partnership (P3) Office The Public-Private Partnership (P3) Office mandate is to increase awareness of public-private partnerships by providing a centre of knowledge and expertise on P3 issues. > Gudjarat Infrastructure Development Board Gujarat is all set to take of on an exponential growth curve. As the implementation of proposed investments gains momentum, the state is poised to transform into a hub of economic activity. GIDB's role is crucial because it has shouldered the responsibility to build the Gujarat of the new millennium. > South Africa National Business Initiative The overall objective of the NBI PPP Programme is to contribute to effective service delivery through the promotion and support of PPPs, as a basis for poverty reduction and economic growth. > South African Treasury Public Private Partnerships Unit Facilitating and enhancing quality public service delivery by being a catalyst for efficient, effective and value-for-money best practice solutions > UK Office of Government Commerce OGC believes that public sector organisations can achieve significant savings by managing better their procurement and commercial activities. In support of this, and to encourage new ways of working, OGC manages a number of initiatives to open up government markets to competition and encourage private sector organisations to work better with the public sector. Partnerships UK is a Public Private Partnership which has an unique public sector mission: to support and accelerate the delivery of infrastructure renewal, high quality public services and the efficient use of public assets through better and stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors. PUK works solely with and for the public sector. The new re-launched PPP Bulletin (incorporating PFI Intelligence Bulletin) is a monthly subscription-based magazine providing in-depth updates on PFI/PPP legislation, regulation, working procedure and market potential. Each edition of the PPP Bulletin includes UK and international news, interviews with the top industry figures, in-depth market reports on PFI/PPP sectors and active countries and six industry authored articles covering transport, waste, education, healthcare, housing, courts and leisure. > 4PS Local Government UK Project Delivery Specialist 4ps is local government's project delivery specialist. 4ps works in partnership with all local authorities to secure funding and accelerate the development, procurement and implementation of PFI schemes, public private partnerships, complex projects and programmes. 4ps' multidisciplinary team provides hands-on project support, gateway reviews, skills development and best-practice know-how. Established in 2001, the PPP Forum is the private sector industry body for the PPP/PFI industry. The PPP Forum's objectives are to: demonstrate the success that PFI is achieving in delivering modern public service infrastructure, take part in public debate and present an informed and business based perspective on PFI and the issues surrounding it , monitor Government and to engage with Government Departments and related organisations involved in developing PFI policy. > American Infrastructure Report Card Annual report cards for America's infrastructure, produced by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). > Institute for Public Private Partnerships USA IP3 believe that the resources of the public and private sectors fused in partnership represent the new paradigm for economic development in the 21st century. Public-private partnerships are increasingly being used as a policy tool to transform the role of national and local governments in public service delivery, infrastructure development, poverty alleviation, capital market development, and governance around the world. Since 1990, almost every country has embarked on an effort to promote private sector financing and operation of public services. > National Council for Public Private Partnerships USA The mission of The National Council for Public-Private Partnerships is to advocate and facilitate the formation of public-private partnerships at the federal, state and local levels, where appropriate, and to raise the awareness of governments and businesses of the means by which their cooperation can cost effectively provide the public with quality goods, services and facilities. > Auckland Rail Upgrade Project Project DART is a series of improvements to Auckland's rail network which, when completed, will allow more frequent and reliable passenger services and improve pedestrian safety around the rail network.
